When was the last time I blogged? Maybe it was LiveJournal... no, I guess Tumblr counts(no, you aren't getting my username). So here I am, making something. With ADHD meds, it's happening. 

I've been querying my first novel Lightning Under My Skin for awhile now. Not long enough to say "hey this is bad let's stop" but long enough to question my sanity a couple times and also make alternate plans. 

I have plan A to Z. A is the pie in the sky. It's an agent and Netflix deals and all the things you can daydream about. I sense plan A is very much out of the picture. Maybe somewhere down about Plan P(lease) I get an agent but it's more uphill battle. Or I get an indie publisher interested. Plan Z is self publish. You can look at this site to see why it's plan Z. That and funding. 

So I'll try this and see where it goes. I want to be published by  age 45 and 41 is staring at me now, though I'm not sure what happened to my 30s. 

I'm wiser, queerer, and medicated. So I'm gonna make something happen. I love the words I've written. I love Eve and Julia. I also love Mae and Blaise and can't wait to get them in the hands of betas very soon. Maybe they'll be first. New adult first person is popular. I never thought I would write it but Mae insisted.
